What are Topic Clusters?
Topic clusters are groups of related keywords and content ideas organized around a central theme. Building topical authority — covering a subject in depth — signals expertise to both search engines and AI platforms, improving your visibility across both.
How SnowSEO builds your clusters
When you set up a Brand, SnowSEO analyses your domain and automatically generates topic cluster suggestions based on your existing content and keyword landscape. You do not need to enter seed keywords manually — clusters appear automatically and update as your site grows.
How to use Topic Clusters
Go to Topical Authority in the sidebar.
Review the suggested clusters and topics. Each cluster shows content gaps — topics you haven't covered yet.
Click a topic to create an article brief, or generate an article directly from the cluster view.
As you publish more content, your topical authority score increases.
Do I need to update clusters manually?
No — SnowSEO keeps clusters updated automatically. New keyword and prompt suggestions surface without you having to re-enter seed keywords each time.
Common questions

SnowSEO tracks how well your content covers each topic cluster relative to competitors, and reflects this in the Topical Authority score on your Overview dashboard.
Can I create custom clusters?
Yes — you can add custom topics or adjust the suggested clusters to match your content strategy.
