What is Prompt Tracking?
Prompt Tracking lets you monitor how AI platforms respond to specific queries, and whether your brand appears in those responses. It is the GEO equivalent of keyword rank tracking, but for AI-generated answers.
Which AI platforms are tracked?
SnowSEO tracks prompt responses across the major AI platforms. Which ones you can enable depends on your plan, because some models cost considerably more to run than others:

The definitive list for your account is the platform picker in Settings -> Automation -> Prompt Tracking, which shows exactly what you can enable today. Availability changes as we add platforms, and there is a Request New Platform button if the one you need is missing.
How to set up Prompt Tracking
Go to AI Visibility in the sidebar.
Click Add Prompt.
Enter the query you want to track, for example "best SEO tools for small businesses".
Choose which AI platforms to check it on in Settings -> Automation -> Prompt Tracking.
SnowSEO checks that prompt on your schedule and shows whether your brand is mentioned, where, and how.
How much does Prompt Tracking cost?
Each prompt response costs 15 AI credits. One response means one answer from one platform, for one prompt, on one refresh.
1 prompt on 1 platform: 15 credits per refresh
1 prompt on 4 platforms: 60 credits per refresh
10 prompts on 4 platforms: 600 credits per refresh
Because the charge repeats every refresh, your monthly cost depends on your tracking frequency as much as on the number of prompts. Common questions
How often are prompts re-checked?
On the tracking frequency set for your Brand. Your plan defines the fastest option: every 7 days on Starter, every 3 days on Pro, and every day on Scale. You can always select a slower one to spend fewer credits.
Change it in Settings -> Automation -> Prompt Tracking. The last checked timestamp for each prompt is shown in the AI Visibility dashboard.
Can I refresh a prompt immediately?
Yes. Any individual prompt can be refreshed on demand. It charges 15 credits per enabled platform straight away, on top of your scheduled refreshes.
Can I track competitor mentions too?
Yes. SnowSEO detects every brand that appears in a response, so you see when competitors are mentioned for the same prompts and how your share of voice compares.
Why did a prompt not refresh?
Scheduled refreshes are skipped when your credit balance is empty. They are not queued up and charged later. Top up or wait for your reset and the schedule resumes.
