What happens when you disconnect an integration
Disconnecting removes the active connection but does not delete your historical data.
What is removed
The access token or API key
Real-time data syncing stops
Automated publishing to that CMS stops
What is preserved
All historical data already pulled into SnowSEO
Articles and reports generated while the integration was active
Keyword rankings and traffic data from past crawls
Example If you disconnect Google Analytics 4, you stop seeing new session data. But all past traffic charts and reports remain visible. If you reconnect the same GA4 property later, data syncing resumes from where it left off.
Reconnecting the same integration
You can reconnect anytime. For OAuth integrations like Google Search Console and Analytics:
Click Connect again
Sign in with the same Google account
Select the same property
Data syncing resumes immediately
For API key integrations like Ghost or Webflow:
Re-enter your API key
The connection is restored
Reconnecting does not duplicate data. It simply restores the pipeline.
