Dashboard looks empty after setup
Most of the platform is ready within minutes. Here is what to expect before you troubleshoot anything.
Ready straight away
Your AI Visibility snapshot and GEO Score, which do not depend on Google Search Console
Your topic clusters and detected competitors
Your full Search Console history, up to 16 months, from the moment you connect it
Ready within the first hour
Website Audit results, which appear progressively as the crawl works through your pages. Large sites take longer
Genuinely delayed
The most recent one to three days of Search Console data. Google publishes it on a delay, permanently, so this is never a first-day-only issue. Look at the last 28 days instead
A newly connected Google Analytics 4 property, which can take 24 to 48 hours to backfill its full history
Ranking movement, which needs a second day of data before "change since yesterday" means anything
Keywords I never added
SnowSEO automatically pulls keywords your site already ranks for from Google Search Console
These are shown so you can spot opportunities you did not know about, and you can track them with one click
Discovered keywords do not count against your plan's tracking limit until you track them
My GSC property is not in the dropdown
Make sure you are signed in with the Google account that has access to the property, and sign out of any other Google accounts
You need at least Restricted permission on that Search Console property
Check that the domain matches exactly, including www and the http or https prefix
Confirm the property is actually verified inside Search Console. Unverified properties are not returned
Disconnect and reconnect Google from Settings -> Integrations -> SEO & AI Tools
One Search Console property can be linked per Brand
Full walkthrough: Connecting Google Search Console
My integration shows connected but no data appears
Click Reconnect from the expanded integration panel. Access tokens can be revoked at the provider's end without SnowSEO being told
Double check that the correct property, site, or view is selected in the dropdown. A www property with no traffic is the most common cause
Verify that your account still has the right permissions in the external platform. Losing access there silently empties the dashboard here
Check the date range you are looking at. If it ends today, you may be looking entirely inside the provider's reporting lag
Google Analytics 4 in particular needs 24 to 48 hours for full historical data after a fresh connection
AI features stopped producing anything
If article generation or prompt refreshes have quietly stopped, check your credit balance first. When credits run out, AI actions pause and scheduled prompt refreshes are skipped rather than queued.
Check your balance in Settings -> Billing
See exactly where the credits went in the Usage History tab
Everything non-AI, including rank tracking, audits, and analytics, keeps working normally
How to reconnect or disconnect an integration
Click your avatar in the bottom left and choose Settings
Open Integrations and pick the relevant tab: SEO & AI Tools for Search Console, Analytics & Performance for analytics providers, CMS Publishing for your CMS
Expand the integration you want to manage
Click Disconnect to remove it completely, then Connect again to reconnect with the correct property
Your login credentials are safe. SnowSEO uses industry standard OAuth 2.0 for all connections, and your passwords are never stored.
