No — keyword rank tracking does not consume AI credits. Credits are only used for AI-powered actions like generating articles (100 credits each) and tracking prompt responses (25 credits each).

Can I buy extra Brands?
No — the number of Brands you can have is determined by your plan. You cannot purchase extra Brands separately. Upgrade your plan to get more.

Why do some plan tiers limit which AI models I can use?
Some AI models are significantly more expensive to run than others. To keep lower-tier plans and lifetime deals feasible, certain models are restricted by tier. That said, we're exploring a model where you can choose any model regardless of tier — stay tuned.

How far do 500 credits go?
You can generate up to 5 articles, or track up to 20 prompt responses, or any combination of the two.

Is there a word count limit on generated articles?
No — you can customize the word count freely. There is no fixed cap.

Does SnowSEO create backlinks for my website?
No — SnowSEO does not build backlinks directly. It helps you identify relevant websites in your niche and suggests outreach opportunities that can earn you backlinks.

Which AI models are used to write articles?
SnowSEO uses a pipeline of models — Claude Opus for research, GPT Image for images, and other models for drafting and refinement. The exact models may change as better ones become available.

Do I need to enter seed keywords every time for topic clusters?
No — SnowSEO automatically generates and updates topic cluster suggestions from your domain. Keyword and prompt suggestions surface on their own without manual input each time.

Which AI platforms does SnowSEO track?
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, Meta AI, DeepSeek, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, and Gemini.

Does it capture Google AI Overview results?
Yes — SnowSEO captures both Google AI Overview and Google AI Mode results.

How many Google Search Console accounts can I connect per Brand?
One GSC property per Brand. If you manage multiple sites, create a separate Brand for each and connect the matching GSC property.

Does SnowSEO work with any website builder?
Yes — auditing, rank tracking, keyword research, and AI visibility work regardless of how your site is built (Webflow, Mobirise, WordPress, custom, etc.). Direct CMS publishing requires a supported integration.

Do I need to bring my own API key for AI features?
No — SnowSEO's AI features run on its own infrastructure. You do not need API keys for ChatGPT, Claude, or any other model.

My GSC property isn't showing up — what do I do?
Make sure you're signed in with a Google account that has at least Restricted access to that property. Try disconnecting and reconnecting in Brand Settings.
